Eldorado Park

Morgan's preschool class went to Eldorado Park as a field trip. Morgan and Eden walked the entire TWO MILE nature walk and never complained, although I was very happy to have the stroller for Kendall. We saw lots of animals, mostly turtles and ducks in the ponds, and a few squirrels and wild rabbits. Morgan was disappointed not to see any coyotes.

Morgan, Kendall, Ms. Jeanette and if you look way ahead you can see Eden leading the way.

Morgan by the lake where she had to let me know there wouldn't be any sharks.

Kendall's picture with the crane or egret or herring. Non of us moms knew. Anyone?

Tell Morgan Aunt Kimmy has coyotes wandering our neighborhood. She'll have to come spend the night to see them!

I know this doesn't have anything to do with Eldorado Park but its APRIL 26th today - HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENDALL. We love you!

I'm not sure, but that bird looks like a Snowy Egret to me, the kind that we used to see at the river bed in Anaheim when us kids would go and play unsupervised, I might add, while my Dad ran on the path. One of the many things we used to do as kids, that I would never DREAM of doing as a Mom. Times have certainly changed... and a few laws too. :)

Thank you, Holly! I threw out an egret and the other moms turned and looked at me like I was making that name up. Whether it is or isn't, I'm going with egret!

When I asked Eden how far they walked,I thought she just pulled "2 miles" out of the air. I was thinking, "That would be so sad if Jody had to walk two miles!" AND YOU DID!!!

So I guess this is where I get to see my kids! I hadn't seen any of these pictures prior to logging on to "my" post? At least I get this quality time, not only with the girls, but with Jody, since anytime we're at home, she's posting to her new favorite pasttime - Roberts buttons. Can I get a "woop woop" from all those husbands out there??? Wives, you'll have to pass that message on to your husbands, and then you'll have to post their responses - I know how it works!

PS - Look for my next post in 2008.
