Ever since we moved to Garden Grove, the Fourth of July has become my favorite holiday. Maybe it's the babies in sunglasses that are too big for their faces or the fun of holding your own sparkler. It could also be how it brings out new puppies dying to chase all the kids running from house to house. I'm sure it has something to do with the food, especially the summer salads and yummy sugar cookies. Plus I just love the RED, WHITE AND BLUE all over the place. Then, there is the fun of hoolahoops and plugging your ears so tight your fingers get sore. I LOVE seeing summer babies and their so cute rolls on their legs. And of course the fireworks in your own front yard. Yes, I love the 4th of July!

Did you know that the only time I have ever lit my own fireworks was at your house - 7/4/03?? But I have to admit, it could only be topped by the spectacular display here in Boston this year - so amazing!!
I remember that! And it's true, I do love a big firework spectacular. However, I grew up in Disneyland's back yard and was spoiled with a firework show every summer night (we could set our clocks by when the big booms started) and I still oooo and aaah over them. There is just something about it being up close and personal, one night out of the year that I love.
I LOVE that puppy. BEAUTIFUL.
Morgan looks like she's a pro at the hula hoop. I just like that picture of her because of her hands. She could easily be saying, "Can't touch this."
Duh nuh nuh nuh - nuh nuh - nuh nuh Can't touch this. Anela is still freaked out by every loud sound after those fireworks.
ha ha ha beth. as i was reading your comment, i was making the sound you make if a shark was in the water. until i got to "can't touch this." i am still laughing.
