First you are going to love me because you will try this smoothie mix and love it just as much as I do. Then, you are going to hate me because you find yourself having to clean your blender every morning in order to enjoy the smoothie...it's so worth it! All you need is this mix, a banana (best with those over ripe brown bananas you don't know what to do with anyway), some milk, and ice.

You can find it at your grocery store, usually next to the bananas.



The best recipes! Why are they the best? I'll tell you! They are simple, use every day ingredients, and I haven't found one I didn't like if not totally love (and I have made a lot of them). Bosom Buddies

After nine months of anticipation Beck and Ethan are finally together. Ethan, my brother's baby, arrived yesterday and we are so thrilled he is here. Already these two boys have to do everything the same -- even though they are three weeks apart they were both weighed today and weigh exactly the same! These cousins look so sweet and innocent now, it's only a matter of time before they start getting into all kinds of mischief together.

Rizzella & Kristy

Quite the morning we've had! This is a picture of Rizzella and Kristy, who are cousins. Rizzella's mom is named Terissa (that's me) and Kristy's mom's name is Laura, someone I have yet to meet in person but have spent a lot of time on the phone with. This morning the cousins have changed their names from Morgan & Kendall to Maria & Malana and now to Kristy & Rizzella. They have been to battle with "the bad guys", locked in a closet, saved by "the boys" that do karate, changed outfits numerous times, and I know Rizzella has died twice because she has been to the doctor (that's me too) to be healed.

Happy Birthday Cherri!

This is a little tribute to today's birthday girl, CHERRI. Who ironically is allergic to cherries, not the red kind but the odd looking yellow kind. She loves In & Out, Boston Market and Joe's Italian Ice. One great part about being her friend is she will very often call me when going to one of these places and offer to bring me back something. She is also the Gadget Queen. She loves do her research and test out all kinds of products. She is my living Consumer Reports. She is a spunky gal with a reputation for spouting off something hilarious that has you saying to yourself "Did she really say that?" as you are peeing your pants from laughter. She is a great friend and a wonderful mother. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERRI!
