So, are you as excited for soccer season as we are?
It's Kendall's first year playing, we had to work in her new cleats. And it's Scott's first year coaching (Morgan's team) we had to work in his new cones.
Before we could officially hold practices the cleats and cones were just begging to be used so we went to the park and had a pre-practice practice. It turned out to be lots of fun. We had some friends meet us there and had a good time running some drills and playing a scrimmage.
The cleats and cones work perfectly.

I can just see this same "scene" in about 8-10 years with Scott and the kids sitting in a huddle. Scott pointing at the group of "boys" and telling his little girls the "rules"...you can date this one but NOT that one or that one or that one....ah, the joys of having girls! Maybe that thought will help you to enjoy the soccer season that much more. Good luck Kendall and Morgan and we can't wait to see you on the field! XOXO
Lavender and fucia soccer balls. You would think with as many girls as I have I would be used to it, but you guys had your basic black and white; it just looked a little unusual to me. How times change! (Guess we better make it to a few more games this year if we want to get used to it, huh!) Glad the cones and cleats worked, and glad they make them itty bitty. Team names yet?
Love,
Mom
Kimmy, it sounds like your speaking from experience.
Mom, when the girls get a free ball with their cleats and the guy asks, "Which one do you want?" What do you think they are going to choose?
And yes! Morgan's team is Watermelon Blast. Kendall hasn't had their first practice yet, but we know they are yellow. Any ideas? (you remember I was yellow my first year and we were the Bumblebees)
Soccer season - YAY!! Scott will be a fantastic coach! Sure wish we could see those girls play. Miss you!
