"Shhhhh...I'm trying to fit in."
My Papa's pet name for his great-grandchildren is "button". I will never forget his sweet scratchy voice when comforting my daughter, "What's a matter, Butt'n?"

Here I go!
Ever since Beth has started raving about how fun blogging is I have had it in the back of my mind to join her. Always with an excuse of why not start today. Well, after Tracy's announcement that she has started a blog (which is so cute I might add) I have decided to jump on the band wagon. Plus I cannot come up with an excuse right now since my house is clean, thanks to Maria, and I have temporarily fulfilled my nesting urges today by moving the furniture around and rearranging the dish cupboard. Well, I could do laundry but me having to start my blog is a great excuse to get out of that! (right Cherri?)
Anyway, this is today, 4/20/07, and these are my girls -- Morgan 4 1/2 and Kendall will be 3 in five days. We finally got some rain and Morgan, who absolutely loves to ride her bike, wouldn't let a little rain stop her. In fact, she was begging to have this new experiece. Plus they had some fun testing out their rain gear, splashing in whatever puddles they could find.

And this is me today (you would think one would put on some make-up before documenting herself on the world wide web). I am 34 weeks and 5 days, due May 28th. Scott and I are very happy to say it's a boy! Scott is thrilled, especially since he was caught quoting Sleeping Beauty the other day. Our little family ain't gonna be so little anymore...and we couldn't be more excited!
