The Beck Challenge

The challenge is not to smile when viewing this video.

For the most part Beck is a pretty happy baby...as long as you are doing exactly what he wants. But that's okay. I think it's important for even babies to have opinions. And he has no problem sharing his. However, I can always count on him to smile and squeal in delight (which has a domino effect on everyone else in the room) during his morning diaper change.

HPDH

I just got done with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! I kind of expected it to be a disappointment because I just knew I had it figured it out and it would be boring. But that J.K. Rowling had me turning pages like you wouldn't believe (as a side note - I will quote part of Morgan's prayer she said tonight, "...and thank you that Mommy is done with her book so we can play games with her now..." - okay, I know, I know, I'm a horrible mother!) and it was no disappointment at all! It seems if I had a theory it was only slightly right and made ten times better. I am so happy to have all my questions answered and now I can get back to things like Candyland and Memory.

The Face Of Camping

We recently got back from our annual camping trip we do with my family.
And if there was a contest of who had the most fun, and this was determined by who got the dirtiest...well...I think Kendall would win hands down.

More to come about our trip...

Oh Seven - Oh Four - Oh Seven

Ever since we moved to Garden Grove, the Fourth of July has become my favorite holiday. Maybe it's the babies in sunglasses that are too big for their faces or the fun of holding your own sparkler. It could also be how it brings out new puppies dying to chase all the kids running from house to house. I'm sure it has something to do with the food, especially the summer salads and yummy sugar cookies. Plus I just love the RED, WHITE AND BLUE all over the place. Then, there is the fun of hoolahoops and plugging your ears so tight your fingers get sore. I LOVE seeing summer babies and their so cute rolls on their legs. And of course the fireworks in your own front yard. Yes, I love the 4th of July!

Slumber Party

I don't think there was a better way to start the Fourth of July holiday than with a sleep-over. Eden spent the night with Morgan and Kendall. Morgan said her favorite part was when they were dancing. My favorite part was listening to Morgan and Eden (Kendall conked out too early) giggle into the wee hours of the night. Aah, brings back so many memories...

Palm Desert

Somebody is going to be a little sun worshipper! We were in Palm Desert over the weekend. We had a ton of fun! So much fun in fact that I forgot to take pictures. The only moments I caught were of Beck's first swim...and he loved it! Actually he just loved the 110 degree heat (definitely has his Aunt Kimmy's blood), crazy kid!
